Leo Morantes-Africano

Leo is originally from Colombia; his professional formation includes industrial design and education. Leo moved to the UK in 2006 and his experience ranges from project management to research and teaching a range of subjects. His specialisms and areas of interest include supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities, inclusion, equality and diversity, technology in education and action research. Leo joined the School of Education team in 2013 and gained Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in September 2017; he is also member of the Society for Education and Training. He currently teaches in the Foundation Degree and PGCE programmes across the YPA, Maths and LDD programmes.
