Our annual HE Staff Research Conference took place online on Wednesday 7th July 2021. It was an exceptional day which showcased the groundswell of unique research currently taking place at NCUC. Research topics of the day ranged from the importance of inclusivity and care within HE teaching, the impact of effective (and innovative) assessment – to social haunting, Nature Inspired Optimisation Algorithms and robots!

We would also like to announce the winner of our Three Minute Thesis competition as Stephanie Noutch, with her thesis project entitled ‘Designing for Dementia’ – well done Stephanie! Check out her video here.
