Job Role:
My principal responsibilities at NCG include managing the Student Fellows Programme, supporting students with in-house publications in particular our creative journal Folio, and facilitating student applications to external events such as the British Conference for Undergraduate Research and Posters in Parliament. In addition, I work with colleagues in organising internal and external projects such as the Student Conference and inclusivity initiatives, alongside research projects and audits as required.
Prior to joining the Research and Student Engagement team in 2021, I worked as an Associate Lecturer at Newcastle and Northumbria universities for eight years where I taught across a range of subject in the Social Sciences. My PhD theses focused on cinematic representations of the Holocaust in relation to the cultural memory of these historical events.
