This year we embark on the second cycle of our OfS funded Stay and Succeed Project. The project, centred around Engineering and Digital Technology Graduate, aims to increase local graduates moving into local employment. So far 38 local small-medium enterprises have engaged in the project from both Engineering and Digital Technology. We are delighted that even with the COVID19 pandemic we have been able to secure four Engineering Graduate Internships with local businesses – MGL Cable Services, Gate 7 Ltd, Gilligan’s Engineering Services, and Engineered Foam Products. Some graduates have been in place since July and August and were able to pursue these internships due to the huge success we had at our February 2020 Engineering Showcase. We are excited to see where the next cycle of the project takes us, with 9 Graduate interns left to place for 2021/22.
