What is the NECTAR Network?
The North East College Teaching and Research Network, otherwise known as NECTAR, is a consortium of colleges based in the north-east of England with a shared aim to enhance, support and provide excellence in college-based higher education. Currently comprised of four colleges: Newcastle College, New College Durham, Sunderland College and Middlesbrough College, we seek to establish the North East as a trailblazer for college-based research and scholarly activity (RSA) by providing a pathway and support network for research practice and scholarship within and between our colleges.
