Job Role
Chrissy joined the RSE team in December 2021, as the lead for an OfS funded project. The project to increase the mental health literacy of a target group of commuter students from lower socio-economic backgrounds, studying HE courses at NCG colleges in Newcastle, Kidderminster, Southwark & Carlisle. The project involves looking at a range of Preventative | Supportive | Intervention strategies and methods. Including student co-production and digital innovation throughout.
Since joining NCG, among other things, Chrissy has filled Newcastle Campus with the smell of free popcorn, supported Kidderminster and Newcastle students to publish a podcast and launched an online counselling service just for HE students – Twilight. Chrissy is passionate about student engagement and all things wellbeing. She is also a Mam of two and enjoys practicing her nail art and gel polish skills on herself, family, and friends.
