MA in Autism from Northumbria University;
P.G.C.E. (FE) from Sunderland University;
BA (Hons) Combined Studies in Performing Arts from Sheffield University.

I am the Programme Leader for the PGCE and Foundation Degree in Education and Training for Specialists in Learning Difficulties and Disabilities. I joined the School of Education team in 2015 and I gained Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in 2018.

I am currently studying a Doctorate in Education at the University of Glasgow. My research focuses on student teachers’ perceptions, experiences, and attitudes towards inclusion with particular respect to autism.
